Simple, effective and… waterproof. We present to you our English waxed cotton jacket ! From the military inspiration to the choice of snap buttons, everything has been thought out to create a practical, useful and easy-to-wear piece.
Why did you work on such a piece? We wanted a jacket that we could wear even when it wasn't raining and that would protect us from the rain with elegance. So that's what we undertook. And the result is there!
So there was no question of turning to a synthetic material that never seems to want to adapt to our body and flies away at the slightest gust of wind... No, we wanted a fabric that held its shape, that we could wear while feeling protected from the elements, that we could count on. So we turned to the waxed cotton expert: British Millerain. Yes, you read that right.
Since 1880, the English textile manufacturer has built a reputation that is undeniable. Quality, durability and innovation have made and continue to make their reputation throughout the world. Our waxed cotton is designed by a workshop with impeccable know-how, with a weight of 230g / m2, it has a very appreciable hold. There, the cotton is densely woven before applying a thin layer of wax to make it rain resistant.

We feel the need to give clothing a real utility. If this need is felt throughout our collection, it is particularly embodied in our waxed cotton jacket. A waterproof fabric in a timeless khaki green color that does not get dirty. Large pockets and a high collar. A straight cut.
Let's get into the details. The cut is clean and roomy enough to accommodate a flannel jacket or chunky knit. We added a slit in the back to give a little more room to move.
The high collar has been designed to cut out as much wind as possible and retain the body's natural heat in cool weather, we have placed 2 horn buttons for the closure. The throat is closed by a rectangular zip (YKK house) directly inspired by military clothing and lined with press studs all along.
The cuffs are very practical, with press stud fastening tabs and a yoke that keeps the wind out, while maintaining some hold when the tabs are unfastened. Traditional darts have been sewn onto the sleeves to follow the natural shape of the elbow.
Finally, the pockets are multiple and of appreciable depth. Two side pockets with bellows with double entry: one above and with flap to store everything, the other on the external side to slip your hands. On the chest, a pocket with discreet zip (still YKK).
Why no hood? Is it still more elegant to wear a hat or have an umbrella? That was our opinion. We can discuss it!
In short, this jacket , just like our military-inspired shirt , reaffirms our ambition to offer you essential clothing at the best value for money. Its multifunctionality makes it an essential piece, with a vintage spirit that is in tune with the times while remaining classic. Our specialty. Do you like it?
